Partner with the best

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will take ownership for quality and continuous improvement across a range of suppliers. You will lead/support product qualification, conduct surveillance audit (QMS/SRG/TRS/Process/Product). You will ensure supplier quality to global standards and lead continuous improvement where there are performance issues.

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Being responsible for Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development including qualifications, action plans, audits and performance monitoring.
• Driving supplier selection through robust qualification processes. Accelerating improvements in supplier quality and deliver value.
• Tracking project progress and ensure on time delivery.
• Developing positive relationships and work closely with Sourcing Leaders to manage and implement supplier/engineering changes, New Product Introductions, and transfers.
• Interfacing with Suppliers and Supply chain to drive Quality improvements.
• Delivering results by key metrics-Cost of Quality/Cost of Failure, qualification on time rate, supplier quality plan engagement/effectiveness and corrective/preventative action closure.
• Driving improvements utilizing Supplier Scorecards and own Supplier audit, ensuring supplier compliance, and driving improvement

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor with Major in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering or relevant.
• Have 3+ years SQE experience with related industries like power Generation, Oil and Gas, Automobile, Railway etc
• Be familiar with equipment or part like inlet/exhaust/fluid system, pressure vessel/heat exchanger/Generator Base/gear box(reducer)/tree frame/pipeline or machining parts.
• Have fluent English and Chinese Speaking and Writing capability.
• Show the ability to lead and coordinate several projects simultaneously.
• Have an analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions.
