Position Summary
The primary function of the SQM is to identify and assess potential forging parts suppliers in China to support BorgWarner commodity plans. Ensure the smooth launch of mass production. Responsible for supplier quality management, including supplier quality problem solving, supplier process capability improvement and supplier audit.
Key Accountabilities
- Capacity improvement
- Monitor, negotiate, and control supplier quality performance
- Driving for supplier CIP
- Improve IQC quality
- Issue supplier quality claim in case of non-conformity found in BW plant
- Driving for supplier problem solving in terms of 8D and 6sigma.
- Responsible for claim charge back to supplier.
- Responsible for supplier quality goal setting
- Plan and conduct supplier yearly audit
- Support to solve field return supplier related issues.
- Support BW plant to improve OEE
- Others assigned by supervisor
