Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and energetic Technical Recruiter based in our Shanghai office to help us build a world-class team. You'll own the full recruitment lifecycle, from strategic sourcing to offer negotiation, partnering directly with our leaders to hire for our engineering, AI, hardware, and operations teams. This role requires a professional who is solutions-oriented and agile, ready to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for our technical teams, focusing on electrical, mechanical, hardware, and supply chain roles for both full-time and contract positions. This includes everything from intake meetings and job description creation to sourcing, screening, offer negotiation, and closing.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage with top technical talent in the Chinese market. Build and nurture relationships with passive candidates through personalized outreach and strong communication.
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing guidance on local market trends, compensation, and interview best practices to ensure a smooth and effective hiring process.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience, ensuring every applicant receives timely feedback and professional communication, reflecting RIVR's commitment to quality.
- Contribute to HR Operations by assisting with the onboarding process for new hires, including documentation and logistical support.
- Maintain clean, accurate data in our ATS (Lever) to track pipeline health, identify bottlenecks, and share progress with leadership.
What you must have
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with our global teams and local candidates.
- 3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience with a proven track record of hiring for startups or high-growth tech companies.
- A background in recruiting for hardware-focused roles such as robotics, embedded systems, mechatronics, and supply chain.
- Experience sourcing and attracting passive candidates using online and social platforms.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), with a strong preference for Lever.
