e are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for students majoring in computer-related fields to gain practical work experience in IP compliance and enhance their technical skills.

ob Responsibilities:

- ssist in scanning and reviewing the compliance status of commercial third-party software used in the company’s products, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and licensing requirements. C
- ollaborate in the development and maintenance of internal-developed tools using Python and Java, with a focus on supporting Intellectual Property compliance checks of commercial third-party software. M
- anage the databases of commercial third-party software across different systems, e.g., GitHub. U
- se Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to handle daily documentation, data organization, and report preparation. C
- ollaborate with team members to solve technical problems and propose innovative ideas. P articipate in team meetings and training sessions, and complete assigned tasks on time.

- urrently pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or other computer-related majors. U
- niversity student that can work 3+ days a week for at least 6 months. B
- asic programming skills, with proficiency in Python and Java at a fundamental level. F
- amiliar with Microsoft Office suite and able to use it proficiently. H
- ave knowledge or understanding of the open-source field, with experience in using GitHub for code management, repository browsing, or simple contributions. E

The Global Technology Legal Compliance (GTLC) team in Products & Innovation (P&I) department is responsible for SAP’s 3rd party intellectual property intake such as Open Source Software. The team audits SAP’s product source code for the occurrence of any 3rd party components and provides guidance to product development teams whether the identified components can be used in SAP’s products. You will have the opportunity to learn and explore the knowledge for commercial third-party components. We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team to assist with the code scan and analysis, especially making efforts in knowledge base area.
