The Position
Sales Manager, Filtration West China
Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
This position is set up to take care of the existing business and capture further new development in the filtration market in Southwest and Northwest China . The primary focus is sustaining current business and identifying new opportunities in the filtration market in the North China region. Also the tactical execution of new or existing products strategies to prescribed targets that create market share gains. The successful candidate is expected to have a profound understanding of filtration segments or food/beverage processing or chemical background and preferably with related strong market player experience before.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sustain current filtration business and further development related workload in China, including but not limited to the customers calls and trials, weekly and monthly updates , sampling and order follow up.
- Filtration related business development and promotion in the market especially for the new product, including but not limited to diatomite earth filtration segments.
- Provide basic technical support and drive the new product or business development in the region which share be 20% of total workload.
- Coordinate with customer service/finance/operation departments and other BAs concerned in Imerys Group for all business and marketing related activities in filtration related business.
- To collect market information, national policy, competitor analysis etc and communicate with supervisor and other management team.
- Lead and Coordinate the filtration related conferences/ seminars/shows as market role in China.
- Well-prepared the required report, technical documents or other paperwork. Properly using CRM, Salesforce tools in daily work.
- Ad-hoc tasks assigned by the line manager
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree, food or Chemical Engineering/Chemistry related major. Have 1-5 years of sales experience in the chemical,food, beverage,etc related industry.
- Food/beverage processing,chemical and water treatment segments, sales or marketing background will be preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with integrity
- Good spoken and written in English and Chinese
- Independent with strong troubleshooting skills, self starter
- Be able to deliver result with efficient sales process
- Willing to take frequent business travel and be able to well organize in business travel plans with efficient cost
