Job Description
What you will do:
Greater China Sales GM Role will be responsible for selling Johnson Controls Hitachi (JCH) Residential and Light Commercial (R&LC) HVAC products through building up and managing Annual Business Plan, Monthly action Plan, Sales team construction, channel network development, and performance review & reward. Your territory spans greater China area for targeting customers in residential, commercial, infrastructure, and industrial verticals. The sales leader role should lead direct Sales team and channel partners for intelligent planning and agile execution, while collaborating with leadership of Product BUs, R&D, Manufacturing operations, Commercial operation (COD) and functional teams. Aggressive sales targets towards 5 year ambition goal will be given and also expected to deliver satisfied P&L outcome year by year.
How you will do it:
- Strategic Planning: Work with Strategy team and BU team for business portfolio selection and business model design, including densified business mix, Process and Policies, resource allocation, Sales and Channel planning, and capability enablement.
- Plan Execution: Responsible for annual Business Plan (P&L target, Priorities, Action plan, and resource planning), including team development, Customer engagement, market promotion, channel management, sales action, service and Customer satisfaction.
- Customer focus: build up professional relationship with high level stakeholders in B2B or B2B2C customers, as well as government, regulations institute, industry associations, EPCs, and eco-partners. Coordinate with company engineers, contractors, facility owners and Wholesale Distributors in order to define product specification and to ensure acceptance of products by owners and distributors.
- Team development: recruit, enable, and motivate Sales team, in order to achieving the highest rank of productivity and generating new business for our company. Provide consistent level of sales coaching, includes: annual kickoff, mid-year review, quarterly appraisal, monthly review, regular ‘one-on-one(s)’, cadence meetings/calls with channel partner/customers, and critical opportunity reviews.
- Internal alignment: responsible for collaboration with BUs, R&D, Manufacturing, COD and Marketing leaders and teams for their lowest COGS cost, shortest lead time, innovative products and continues improvement.
- High performance culture: responsible for team result as the owner of Regional Sales, through individual leadership and team collaboration with all functional leaders, for high performance of broader organization.
- Compliance: full compliance with JCI/JCH rules while achieving committed growth in Greater China.
Required
- Bachelor Degree or above, preferably in HVAC engineering or closely related.
- Above 15 years working experience and 5 years working experience in sizable team management.
- Above 5 years in leading Direct Sales and Channel Sales with proven track record.
- Extensive sales and marketing experience in HVAC/Heating & Cooling industry with deep connection of HVAC market and eco-system.
- Ability to communicate both internally and externally at C-levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in driving efficient sales process and cross selling initiatives.
- Willing to travel frequently for achieving business target
- Sales GM from Targeted companies, according to separate list provided.
- Sales GM who can bring numbers of Sales experts and channels partners for quick win.
