Job Summary
Approves materials and services by confirming towards specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials and services performed. Approves finished products by confirming specifications. Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarize re-work and waste, document observations and results data into quality database. Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions. calling for repairs. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures complying with legal regulations. Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Execute the quality control procedures, correct quality deviations and complete the inspection report on time. Give input to identification of controls and methods for measuring supplier quality, secure and validate documentation and specification of manufacturing.
What you will do
In this role you will drive new part validation, supplier continuous improvement activities, audits and assure quality level of our suppliers through quality control procedures. You will work on improving supplier accuracy and balancing supplier capabilities. You will also monitor quality of specifications to our suppliers, securing Tetra Pak design in our supply chain.
You will focus on:
- Secure parts delivery quality following Tetra Pak Parts validation process (PPAP) to prevent supplier failure and achieve various KPIs.
- Handle technical issues and claims from final or internal customer with root cause analysis, improvement action and drive action with supplier to eradicate the root cause.
- Participate in supplier audit and improvement activities to develop suppliers.
- Cooperate with supplier manager, design engineer and production center to take preventive action to manage potential quality risk.
- Drive loss eradication team at supplier to reduce SNC.
- Actively support WCM as the way of working in production center.
- Coordinate efficient engineering changes across Tetra Pak supply chain.
- Perform tasks assigned by manager.
This position is based in Kunshan. You will travel around 30% of your time.
