Role: Business Development Manager - China
Salary: RMB 20,000 per month, depending on experience

What we’re looking for
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, customer-focused individual to join NCUK as a Business Development Manager focusing on China.
This role will be responsible for managing the Business Development (China) function within NCUK to meet or exceed company goals for profitable revenue growth. This includes identifying, qualifying and developing new opportunities for growth for NCUK in the China region. The Business Development manager will work with colleagues across Directorates to support existing Study Centres with the objective of increasing student enrolments and conversions to NCUK partner universities.

What will you do?
This role will be responsible for managing business development and account management activity within the China region. The post holder will also work collaboratively across all regions and/or strategic project work streams to ensure the sharing of best practice across the NCUK network, taking responsibility as the lead.
The successful candidate will identify prospects, leading to the development of new NCUK Study Centres in strategic locations and in line with the Strategic Plan. You will ensure that such prospects will deliver a variety of NCUK programmes to achieve NCUK objectives and recruitment and placement targets with a focus on pathway provision.
What do you need?
To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will:
- Be educated to degree level or equivalent qualification
- Have extensive experience of business development
- Have project management experience
- Be fluent in English
- Have an understanding of the British Higher Education system
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, including sensitivity to different cultures, and be confident giving presentations to large audiences
