- Actively and independently source and close business opportunities;
- Collaborate on business opportunities across the business; and
- Promote LRQA’s profile through activities such as joining events, publishing thought leadership articles, participating in presentations, etc.
- Responsible for the virtual PnL of sustainability offer growth in the region
- Grow the Sustainability solution, Set, communicate, and manage team goals and metrics
- Support strategic planning and guidance;
- Report regularly on goals, initiatives, and business metrics
- Promote a positive working environment and culture that uphold company values;
- Grow and develop the Greater China colleagues in awareness and competency in the area of sustainability
- Work closely with sales team, service delivery and marketing teams to build LRQA business and influence in the market
- Proactively direct and govern opportunities in the region;
- Resolve delivery challenges and serve as an escalation point;
- Engage senior LRQA and client leaders as needed;
- Directly manage and get ‘hands on’ with projects as needed or when capacity permits/demands; and
- Ensure quality delivery and drive continuous improvement of delivery
- Ensure that colleagues are taking a big picture view of client engagement and project delivery, to foster relationships and long term partnership and deeper engagement across the LRQA ecosystem of services
- Contribute to the develop service offerings, from high-level marketing materials to detailed SOPs and delivery tools
- Coach and build internal and external resource pool and partnership in the Greater China sustainability field, including potential M&A targets
Structure long-term commercial deals and build out the relevant toolkit to support.
Act to acquire new clients and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure their needs are being met.
Monitor the marketplace and analyse opportunities, providing competitive analysis and stay well-connected with clients to ensure broad market needs are being incorporated into the development of business plans and lead on strategic growth initiatives in target markets.
Champion and promote technical innovation, product development and service excellence to improve our competitive position and develop key selling point capabilities.
Ensure communication to key stakeholders, foster teamwork and strive to maintain an environment of openness and trust, facilitating problem solving to address obstacles and ensure agreement on resolutions.
Identify and present opportunities to strengthen the Greater China market share through merger, acquisition and/or joint venture activity.
Eliminate or minimise employee exposure to risks by regularly reviewing the health and safety risk register, applying appropriate controls, communicating results of risk assessments, and ensuring health and safety is considered in the planning and execution of all LRQA activities.
Be compliance with health and safety rules, instructions, systems and legal requirements to ensure employees are suitably trained and adequate resources are available to work safely.
Shall possess a relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised university. MBA or equivalent desirable.
Proven track record in developing commercial strategies and growth plans, building and sustaining client satisfaction levels.
Has the credibility and impact necessary to influence and build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues, and possess the drive and energy required to tackle a wide-ranging and complex agenda.
