In short
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented legal professional to join our China Legal team in Shanghai. In this role, you’ll support a variety of legal and compliance matters, including contracts, advertising review, data privacy, and IP coordination, helping the business stay compliant and run smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
Your Mission
Assist China Legal Counsel in establishing and optimizing contract management processes to mitigate internal control risks.
Assist in reviewing advertising claims to reduce compliance risks.
Support the HQ and China Legal team in improving internal data compliance policies, including but not limited to legal research on updated regulations and data mapping exercises.
Assist in organizing IP-related demands and prepare regular case reports.
Support contract review and archiving of contracts/documents.
Assist in preparing corporate governance documents.
Your story
Current senior undergraduate or graduate student (Year 1/2) in Law.
Solid legal academic foundation; prior BAR exam pass is a plus.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken, working proficiency required).
Proficient in Word and PowerPoint.
5 Strong communication and coordination skills, logical thinking, and ability to summarize effectively.
Strong interest in corporate in-house legal roles; candidates aspiring to become corporate legal counsel are preferred.
