Main duties/Responsibilities:
Delivers professional activities in the Treasury/Banking job family with a focus on Treasury Analysis. Performs analyses and assists in recommendations on a variety of moderately complex treasury activities which may include cash management, short-term investments, cash accounting, deposit and disbursement processing, foreign checks and wires, distributing monthly interest and quarterly commitment fee letters, reporting bank balances, bank reconciliation, bank administration and securities clearance. Applies standard techniques and procedures to routine instructions that require professional knowledge in specialist areas. Provides standard professional advice and creates initial reports/analyses for review Accounting & tax - Support accounting and tax colleagues on Treasury accounting, account receivable booking, tracking and reconciliation, tax filing, and regular applications including VAT exemption, grants, etc. Reporting - Support reporting colleagues on government reports/filings to Finance Bureau, Statistic Bureau, SAFE, etc.
As a shared resource, this role as takes responsibility on HR and Office Admin works including:
Manages staff exit process, include collecting exit related documents, resignation letter, handover completion, asset return and notice for termination sending to Fesco. Assists for staff certifications including but not limited to on-job certification, loan certification, salary certification and staff travel certifications. Works together with commercial insurance vendors for annual staff insurance purchase and cancellation. CDSS half year and annual staff rewards collection, consolidation and announcement. Office facility & property maintenance. Monthly payment for office rent/express/work cell phone/CWT/insurance/cleaning.
