For our Digital Industries / Digital Business Office team, we are looking for a Team Leader for leading BD and inside sales excellence team and working closely with inside sales team focused on driving revenue growth for Siemens DI products and services. . We are a highly motivated team and are excited to get to know you.
You'll make an impact by
- Leading a high-performing BD and Inside Sales excellence team to drive and enable revenue growth of digital business and inside sales.
- Implementing regular team performance reviews, feedback sessions, and providing coaching to optimize team outputs.
- Fostering a culture of innovation by encouraging cross-functional collaboration.
- Collaborating with Sales Domains to define portfolio and pricing strategies, business plans, and internal target breakdown for digital business and inside sales.
- Defining clear team KPIs and ensuring transparency through regular performance reviews. Compiling relevant insights from reports for Sales Management and Sales Meetings.
- Exploring and piloting sales-driven new business models.
- Ensuring Siemens’ value proposition is effectively communicated to customers.
- Promoting cross-selling solutions by vertical and application for target portfolios/technology portfolio elements such as SMART, CNP, and Micro Automation.
- Working closely with other teams to optimize customer journeys and seller journeys.
- Developing structured training programs to continuously increase inside sales competence on portfolio/branches knowhow and sales skills.
- Designing, standardizing, and optimizing inside sales processes and methodologies, including lead qualification, pipeline management, remote customer engagement, and deal-closing approaches, including collaboration with relevant eco-partners.
- Leveraging data analytics to optimize customer and seller journeys, enhancing conversion rates throughout the entire journey.
- Ensuring digital business and inside sales performance transparency via periodic reporting.
- Conducting market intelligence and competitor analysis for best practices while keeping track of competitors’ moves.
- Designing and implementing collaboration frameworks and processes with key partners to ensure the effectiveness of the inside sales “Triangle” Go2M model.
- Establishing and monitoring key partners’ performance KPIs, conducting periodic reviews to optimize collaboration strategies, and ensuring revenue growth via partners achieves targets.
- Exploring and introducing new types of customers, such as online resellers or platforms, and monitoring their performance to ensure revenue growth.
Your defining qualities
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 8+ years’ experience in the industrial field and at least 3 years in a managerial position in product management, business development, or a sales organization.
- Optimistic, positive, brave to accept challenges with a growth mindset, strong ability to work under pressure, passion for work, and adaptability to the environment.
- Good team spirit, excellent interpersonal and coordination skills, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective and respectful communication skills to interact with target groups, reach satisfactory agreements using negotiation techniques, and prepare and present information according to target group needs.
- Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking.
