Strings Program Director
Global Music School is an international music education team dedicated to creating customized programs for children of all ages and skill levels. Guided by the Anthony Education System, developed by Principal Lifen Anthony, we blend the best of Eastern and Western music education. Our approach combines strong technical training with creativity and artistic expression, fostering students’ love of music, teamwork, and self-driven growth.
We’re looking for a Strings Program Director to lead our Strings Department, inspire faculty, and guide students toward musical excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines teaching, program development, event coordination, and team mentorship.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the Strings Department’s teaching programs and oversee course management.
- Guide and support faculty with lesson planning, training, and professional development.
- Build and maintain systems for teaching quality, evaluation, and student progress.
- Help plan and execute school events such as summer camps, concerts, and performances.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and school-wide initiatives.
- Support student retention, satisfaction, and referrals through high-quality teaching and program management.
- Manage daily operations, optimize workflows, and ensure consistent teaching standards.
Requirements:
- At least two years of work experience outside of university education.
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance or Music Education required.
- Master’s degree or higher preferred.
- Strong experience in strings teaching and performance.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of teachers.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Passion for music education and dedication to student development.
