Sr. Executive, Finance

This role will have the opportunity to oversee accounting, tax, reporting and financial controls for China’s legal entities, and be responsible to provide timely and accurate reports in accordance with both local regulations and US GAAP requirements.

Financial Closing Activities & Reporting:

• Ensure monthly end closing tasks completed timely and properly in line with Organon Financial Policies & Procedures, as well as US and China GAAP requirements.
• Perform essential accounting postings or adjustments, based on rigorous and logical argumentation.
• Provide multi-dimensional financial analysis, included but not limited to fluctuations on B/S, P&L account level, product COGS, SG&A expenses, tax payments.
• Coordinate with other local finance team (e.g. OTC, STS, BP, FP&A, RM), global shared service center closely, to provide swift and effective solutions from perspective of accounting, tax, and financial reporting.
• Prepare PRC financial statements and respond to external financial data requests (e.g. from Bureau of Tax, Statistics, Commerce, or audit firm)

General Accounting & Tax:

• Monitor semi-final and final audit process proactively on US GAAP, Statutory Report, CIT annual filing, Transfer Price, etc. Input professional and valuable viewpoint to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
• Control both direct and indirect tax key processes, calculate CIT provisions according to global/auditor’s guidance.
• Prepare inter-company service charge calculation paper and execute cost transfers based on transaction nature.
• Liaison with tax bureau and external tax agent on ad-hoc tasks

Others

• Perform annual SOX compliance self-testing and implement remediation when required
• Monitor CAPEX/OPEX classifications and the whole capitalization process
• Assist in other tasks or projects assigned by line manager

Background Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Finance, Accounting, or related specialties.
• At least 8 years working experience in accounting, tax and reporting field
