ABOUT THE JOB
The manager would partner with regional sales organization and HQ commercial team to strategically drive route-to-market investment efficiency and compliance, strengthen distributor and wholesales market and financial management to improve marketplace heath of PVM China.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Regional Finance Management
1. Monthly regional/office PL review with HQ and regional team to drive profitability insights and improvement actions
2. Monthly distributor investment review with HQ and regional team to mitigate deviation between channel/product guidance
3. Work with business team to set up principles and processes that improve distributor investment planning and execution
4. Initiate necessary commercial analysis with high quality to support decision-making
5. Daily review and process trade activity application in TPM as finance gate keeper to drive ROI & compliance
6. Participate actively in the strategic and business planning process (like LRP, Budget, LE)
7. Manage and govern trade spend policy ongoingly into sales organization
8. Work closely with regional sales organization (RSMs & ASMs), as finance contact window to provide necessary training and finance solutions, business partnering & co-pilot
9. Regular market and sales office visit, driving commercial finance awareness and business process enhancement
Distributor Management
1. Lead distributor contract finance review, including time & process control, contract term improvement, DT segmentation and rebate structure, etc.
2. Set up and implement distributor target review principles to support business growth
3. Build up yearly rebate budget, ensure accurate monthly rolling forecast, financial closing and payment compliance, meanwhile manage potential R&O
4. Continuously improve distributor opening and closure process and compliance
5. Lead or support distributor reconciliation, claims or litigation to best benefit of PVM China, and properly manage related finance and compliance risks
Other
1. Lead and coordinate key projects relating to route-to-market and distributor management
2. Leverage system capabilities (BI development and utilization) and solution to improve way of working and create a robust set of playbook to deliver analytics that provide actionable insights to leadership.
3. Other ad hoc project and tasks
WHAT WE WANT YOU
1.Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
2.ACCA/CPA preferred (or other similar qualification)
3.Strong professional written and verbal communication skills (both Chinese and English)
4.10+ years in progressively responsible financial roles in FMCG industry.
5.Deep experience in commercial, regional finance or distributor management with sizeable business and complexity is preferred
6.Experience and passion in change management, streamlining process or reporting for more efficient and effective results
7.Strong management skills with proven ability to build strong partnerships across the organization and lead diversified subordinates
8.Strong integrity, resilience and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset is a MUST
9.Ability to work on multi-task under tight timeframes
10.Strong business acumen and finance/commercial business partnering
11.Use of BI tools and analytical skills
12.Excellent computer skills (e.g. Power point, MS Excel, etc.) and working knowledge of SAP
13.Knowledge of accounting, budgeting and cost control principles
