JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experience Digital Product Manager to lead the development and management of our China website product. This role requires a deep understanding of the Chinese digital landscape, e-commerce trends, and localization strategies. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in digital product development and a passion for driving digital products in a fast-paced environment.
The Sr. Manager, Digital Platforms China is responsible for:
- Product Roadmap Development: Understand the vision and strategy for the China website product, develop the product roadmap and align it with business objectives and market needs.
- Cross-Functional Management: Collaborate with product, design, marketing, and development teams to ensure successful execution of projects.
- Localization and Compliance: Ensure all content and features are culturally relevant and compliant with local regulations and standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and performance.
- Delivery Management: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of website projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks specific to the CN web product and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Performance Tracking and Optimization: Use analytics tools to track project performance and user engagement, making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.
- Resource and vendor management: Manage project budgets and vendor resources, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- University degree in Business, Information Technology or relevant areas.
- 5+ years of experience in digital project management or as product owner, with a focus on e-commerce or digital products.
- Proven expertise in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong understanding of the Chinese digital ecosystem, including platforms like WeChat, Alibaba, and Baidu.
- Relevant project management certification (PMP, Scrum Master) is a plus.
- International company or IT consulting company experience is a plus.
- Self-motivated and ability to influence without authority.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts.
- Fast leaner and able to thrive in ambiguous situations
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both English and Mandarin.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Develop and manage Web product roadmap and backlogs
- Lead agile teams to deliver products on schedule, includes resource coordination and issues escalation management.
- Become communication bridge between Business Team and Tech teams for digital solution high level design.
- Regularly communication product status & work with other disciplines on the new product development or existing product improvement.
- Manage resource planning and escalations of delivery team.
