Job Description:
As a Senior Product Manager, China for Solventum’s Dental Solutions business, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. In this pivotal role, you will drive China-for-China innovation, adapt global solutions for local relevance, and lead the successful localization and commercialization of dental products across the Chinese market. While your primary focus will be China, you will also provide strategic support to localization efforts across the broader Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
Here, you will make an impact by:
- Localizing global dental solutions product to align with Chinese clinical practices, consumer preferences, and regulatory standards.
- Leading market research and customer insight gathering to inform product strategies tailored to the needs of the Chinese dental market.
- Advocating China market insights to global portfolio team to influence global product design within global planning forums, ensuring regional needs are represented and prioritized.
- Driving China-specific innovation, identifying local product opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams—including regulatory, supply chain, and manufacturing—to enable successful development and launch.
- Overseeing the import and commercialization of global products, managing compliance, timeline coordination, and stakeholder alignment across markets.
- Monitoring product performance post-launch, including pricing, positioning, and channel dynamics, and building compelling business cases for product optimization or new development.
- Fostering a global mindset, balancing central strategy with local nuance to meet the unique challenges of international commercialization.
- Develop 3-5 year China localization roadmaps and strategies using market analytics (customer / consumer trends, competition, regulations) , and managing core product responsibilities, including feature definition, and lifecycle performance tracking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Marketing, or related fields; MBA is a strong asset.
- 5–10 years of experience in product marketing or product management, ideally within dental, medical device, or healthcare sectors.
- Strong understanding of China’s healthcare ecosystem, regulatory environment, and dental market trends.
- Bilingual fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent communication, product management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to lead complex initiatives across functions and geographies.
- Excellent cross-cultural collaboration abilities, risk-aware decision-making under uncertainty, and resilience in high-pressure environments.
- Previous experience working in multinational or matrixed organizations is preferred.
