Purpose of the role:
A critical leadership role within the GCR Finance team. Providing financial controls and excellence in Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis and business partnering.
Responsibilities include:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Manage overall planning cycle, include budgeting and forecasting, and month end reporting. Lead preparation for review with key stakeholders to drive performance
- Involve in integrated business planning (demand and supply) monthly cycle to understand business drivers and R&O, highlighting implications on financial commitment in a timely manner to enable trade-off discussions
- Strengthen Greater China region financial animation, consolidate financials to perform variance and trend analysis, evaluate financial KPIs for scenario modelling to support strategy planning Drive excellence to standardize and optimize financial planning process and budget governance. Act as FP&A contact window with Group Finance stakeholders, and support local implementation on group-led finance initiatives and drive best practices sharing across markets
Finance Business Partnering
Establish trusted working relationships with business stakeholders, to ensure good visibility and timely communication on financial performance
Lead business case development for new product innovations. Provide value-added support to business teams to ensure Finance point of view are considered and aligned with key stakeholders. Monitor and evaluate post-launch performance
Monitor topline growth across different channels and categories with sound analysis. Review trade spending and A&P to gate-keep ROI assumptions. Connecting dots from market context, platform performance and business strategies to evaluate performance and derive business insights for management advice
Coach and mentor the business on best practice commercial strategies and financial controls, whilst inspiring a small team to influence commercial outcomes for Blackmores.
Who are you?
10+ years of experience in Finance with solid experience in Financial Planning & Analysis and Business Partnering, in a multinational organization
Previous responsibility of P&L management and delivery for the China market, preferably in nutritional health, or the broader consumer goods or life science sectors
Strong team player, able to work seamlessly with cross culture and cross functional teams. Experience in leading teams and developing talent is a plus
Strong business acumen, able to understand financial implication from business strategy. Ability to work with ambiguity and adapt fast to changing market environment
Strong presentation skills, able to translate financials figures for business communication, and articulate message clearly for management review
Education background with CPA / ACCA / MBA is a plus; Experience in Big 4 or Finance Trainee Program is a plus
Positive, proactive growth mindset, confident with articulate communications skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with high energy levels and possess a strong service-oriented mindset
Ability to work in a matrix environment, influencing culture
