We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
Business: CTO Data Technology
Principal responsibilities:
- Facilitate delivery of system solutions.
- Analysis, Design, develop and implement IT solutions to meet business requirements.
- Conduct system test, user acceptance test and provide support on system implementation.
- Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices.
- Prepare project related documentation and ensure compliance and audit policies strictly followed.
- Reduce technical risk / debt in solution proposal, system design and implementation.
- Support service resilience activities, investigate and resolve production issues.
- Provide in-depth knowledge transfer and on-job training / guidance to improve team productivity.
- Work closely with global and regional stakeholders on projects delivery.
- Maintain effective and good relationship between the business and the IT Project team, managing appropriate business expectations and negotiating compromise where appropriate.
- Familiar and hands on experience on Qlik Sense (data model and visualization), or solid knowledge of SQL, DDL and data modeling
- Experience on project management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues
- Ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts and technology on deliveries any assignments
Effective English communication and collaboration skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
What additional skills will be good to have?- Experience on banking / HSBC and understanding of how change drives benefits for HSBC, its customers and other stakeholders will be an advantage. Experience on GPB will be an advantage.
- Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred.
