What are your responsibilities?
- Fully responsible for Project commercial operation and financial performance to ensure project commercial management fully comply with Siemens Project management requirement
- Responsible for project performance continuous improvement incl. risk assessment, cost control and claim management from project commercial perspective. Ensure financial results according to set targets are managed with due professional care and optimizes the project gross profit, cash flow and assets and financing instruments
- Responsible for operational project processing (taxes, customs, shipping and insurance topics etc.)
- Manage & continuously optimize the capital efficiency incl. OPEX, balance sheet items, etc.
- Ensure Siemens commercial and financial regulations implementation in project
- Ensures the accuracy of project books and records, including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g. SAP - ensures compliance with Siemens-FRG plus the local GAAP requirements.
- Ensure and improve related Project Reporting and Controlling activities to provide a timely and transparent financial overview for project
- Fully aware project status and development to ensure the accuracy of project forecast and planning
- People Management: Team leader of project CPM team, lead and develop a strong team of commercial project managers to ensure large project commercial execution
- Together with Project Manager in identifying, evaluating and assessing risk and opportunities, strategies and response activities – taking over the full responsibility in this regard with respect to all commercial risks and opportunities
- Cooperating with Sales, responsible for commercial related tasks during pre-sales and bidding phase
- Actively communicates with customer's commercial representatives and manages solving of commercial issues
- Represents the project in the relevant decision boards internally and externally
What do you need to qualify for this job?
- More than 8 years’ work experience in a variety of commercial and financial roles and functions, large project experience will be a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- Team leading experience is preferred
- Customer Service business experience will be a plus
- Certified by Siemens Commercial Project Manager Program is preferred
- Excellent coordination and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, and people development abilities
- Logical thinking, clear-minded, with sharp business acumen
- Be proficient at English, both written and spoken
- Proactive, self-driven, can balance well both details & big-picture comprehension
