Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join our global cybersecurity team, supporting our operations in Dalian, China. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining network security infrastructure for our China-based users and manufacturing operations.
As part of the global Network Security team, you will work closely with international teams to enforce security policies, support secure remote access, and ensure reliable network protection.
Key technologies include Palo Alto Firewalls, Prisma Access Gateway, and GlobalProtect VPN.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with these tools, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate in a multinational, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsible for determination and deployment of robust, stable, and manageable computing and network services. Manage technical projects.
Determine site computing and network server strategy .
Research new technology/products/tools. Monitor and perform capacity/feasibility studies and resolve network capacity issues. Identify, develop, and deploy tools supporting network server services.
Perform impact analysis of new technologies on environment. Analyze and troubleshoot complex and advanced problems.
Plans and schedules work to meet deadlines established by others to ensure the completion of several related tasks.
Uses judgement in data analysis to develop and design solutions for moderately complex processes.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent, at least 5 years working experience
