The Position
Job Summary:
Develop an organizational-wide marketing strategy for enhancing market penetration, optimize product positioning, drive sustainable revenue growth and improve the organization’s competition position.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic planning, development, and implementation of all marketing policies, programs, and activities for Molecular Lab, ensuring alignment with the organization's overarching mission, vision, and long-term financial goals
- Comply with regulations and standards, and protects the organization’s public reputation.
- Actively contribute to executive-level business planning, providing insightful market perspectives to shape the overall corporate strategy and ensure marketing initiatives are fully integrated across all business functions.
- Oversee comprehensive market analysis, including monitoring evolving trends in molecular diagnostics and life sciences, customer behaviors, and competitor activities to proactively identify new market opportunities and emerging needs.
- Establish and maintain a consistent, powerful brand image across all Molecular Lab product lines, promotional materials, and events, ensuring strong market presence and customer recognition.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key strategic customers and thought leaders to maximize business interests and gather critical market insights.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, integrated marketing team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Establish clear goals, provide regular performance feedback, and support the professional growth of team members to maximize their potential and achieve departmental objectives.
- Guide the preparation of comprehensive marketing activity reports, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to executive management.
- Drive efforts to achieve and exceed market share targets in relation to industry benchmarks and economic trends for the Molecular Lab business.
- Optimize marketing spend and resource allocation to ensure maximum return on investment and contribute to overall business profitability.
- Achieve satisfactory market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and suppliers, negotiating favorable contract terms and conditions for major services to support marketing initiatives.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of robust customer databases to support targeted marketing initiatives and enhance customer engagement.
- Act as a key liaison across various internal departments, including sales, R&D, regulatory affairs, and finance, to ensure marketing strategies are seamlessly integrated and aligned with overall corporate objectives and commercialization efforts.

- Conduct business in full compliance including but not limited to Roche Secure, Roche Behavior in Business, Roche Competition Law Interactive Dialogues, Roche Safety, Security Health and Environmental Protection
- Understand and fulfill the responsibility of line manager's SHE tasks and duties (as defined in SHE handbook)
Education& Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or Clinical Diagnostics or Business Administration, MBA is preferred
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Good command of MS office software application
- Product & marketing expertise
Experience:
12 years working experience in a similar capacity and in a similar industry
