What you´ll do
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to uncover growth opportunities within specific regional segments, delivering actionable insights to both regional and global teams to drive strategic initiatives.
- Develop a deep understanding of regional markets through competitive benchmarking, acting as a key link between local markets and global strategy while integrating essential customer feedback and requirements.
- Identify and evaluate regional market opportunities for localized initiatives, focusing on untapped potential and high-impact applications not covered by the global strategy. With special focus on E-Mobility transformation and drive Henkel’s portfolio and application strategy to capitalize on and win in this growing market.
- Contribute to the creation of industry-specific content for marketing programs that support local market activation, enhance customer engagement, and scale key applications and processes.
- Actively engage in regional sales and marketing meetings, providing key business insights that inform and refine sales strategies and market focus.
- Oversee the execution of New Product Introductions (NPI), regional product extensions, and portfolio rationalization, ensuring the product portfolio is optimized to meet market demands.
- Define portfolio segmentation and lead improvements to the Golden Range, ensuring alignment with regional needs.
- Manage trademark registrations and renewals, ensuring legal protection and compliance with the business’s strategic objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Management team to monitor and drive category profitability, ensuring commercial success across the region.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or Strategy.
- Preferred total experience: 10+ years.
- Preferred experience in Market Strategy, Business Development, Sales, or Application Engineering: 5+ years.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful market penetration and portfolio strategies.
- Familiarity with product portfolio management and project management methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of industry trends, with experience in the automotive aftermarket. Familiarity with vehicle repair workshop solutions is considered a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving key business objectives.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Power BI is a plus.
- Fluent in both English and Chinese.
