- The purpose of this role is to be an expert on financial statement and tax affairs, monitoring actual performance against standards/target on functional and OID. And as a leader within the accounting function, will drive a digitally enabled agenda to upgrade systems, improve processes and mitigate risk
- This role also serves as the leader for the accounting team and is therefore responsible for all people management activities including recruiting, team development, career development and coaching.
- Undertake financial analysis of key data for assigned issues and areas using a variety of reporting tools to compare actual performance with forecasts and budgets and provide management with information of trends and results to enable corrective action to be taken
- Prepare and maintain the consolidating income statement and balance sheet for use and timely monthly and year end closings
- Lead internal control self-testing (SOX) and internal audit (GIA audit) to achieve compliance goal
- Lead corporate annual budgeting
- Maintain healthy relationship with tax bureau and keep up to date on relevant rules and regulations
- Review all Tax related reports and take lead Tax exemption/benefit project
- Continuous optimization of accounting procedure and internal control points
- Manage the accounting team (associate managers and analysts) including all recruiting, team development, and coaching.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experienced of driving process improvements and leading transformational initiatives
- Bachelor or above education experience
- More than 10 years of working experience in finance/Accounting
- Strong people leadership skill
- Able to communicate in both English and Mandarin at a professional setting.
