Job Description SummaryLeads the factory Maintenance team in the planning and implementation of initiatives that maintain and improve the reliability, effectiveness, and/or efficiency of equipment, technical infrastructure, production lines, and/or facilities. - Proposes and manages the annual maintenance budget by monitoring the costs and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources and determining actions to cost issues as necessary.
- Defines maintenance policies and processes that drive maximum efficiency of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.
- Develops and implements life cycle management procedures for all new and existing equipment.
- Develops and proposes improvement projects for processes and production lines to reduce both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance.
- Defines maintenance plans for new production lines and recommends methods to improve reliability, ongoing maintenance, and safety of equipment, in collaboration with the Engineering department.
