Position Summary:
The Logistics Project Manager will lead cross-functional initiatives that support the customer account lead to drive internal external work sessions processing based on timeline. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle from SOW, BRD, SOP to implementation and continuous improvement while collaborating with external carriers, 3PLs, customs brokers, IT and internal function teams across APAC/Global.
Job Description:
- Project Leadership
- Define scope, objectives, KPIs and success criteria for the projects.
- Create and maintain integrated project plans (Work Breakdown Structure, schedules, RACI, risk registers).
- First point of contact for escalation concerning project management.
- Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate Digital/IT, operations, procurement, analytics teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal executives, external carriers and customers during project execution.
- Continuous Improvement & Analytics
- Analyze implementation phase KPIs (internal and external parties) and lead post-mortem sessions to institutionalize lessons learned.
- Leverage data visualization tools to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Change Management & Training
- Develop SOPs, training materials and change-management plans for new processes and systems.
- Conduct pilot runs and hyper-care support to stabilize operations at go-live.
Requirement:
Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive project-management experience in logistics, warehousing or transportation.
- Proven record of deploying at least one end-to-end logistics project $1 M in budget and/or spanning multiple countries.
- Expertise in WMS/TMS implementations (Cargowise, SAP, ERP, Oracle OTM, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira or similar PM tools.
- Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal); additional language is a plus.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification.
Preferred
- Master’s degree or MBA.
- Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
- Experience with 4PL
- Capability of customizing any dashboard analytics tools, Qlik, Power BI, etc.
