What You Will Do:
This is a position which independently or as part of a team is to own the end-to-end life-cycle of AGV systems. With Seer Robotics controllers as the core, responsible for he "full life cycle" design, deployment and continuous optimization of the factory's hidden jacking and forklift AGVs.
Solution Design & Implementation
Use tools to perform site mapping, route planning, and charging station placement based on production line cadence, warehouse traffic flow, and WMS data.
Develop an "AGV Project Implementation Blueprint" (including traffic control zones, obstacle avoidance zones, and buffer zones).
Software and Hardware Deployment
Independently complete the installation, wiring, and calibration of the AGV controller, LiDAR, servo drive, and RFID/QR code reader.
Configure the See AGV system and perform interface debugging with the existing Siemens PLC, MES, and WMS.
Route Optimization
Analyse bottleneck sections and adjust route weights, speed limits, and traffic control strategies.
Develop a monthly "AGV Utilization and Congestion Report," proposing and implementing at least three optimization measures.
Troubleshooting Operations and Maintenance
Monitor real-time AGV performance, troubleshoot faults proactively, and implement optimizations that boost efficiency and stability.
Technical Support & Training & Documentation
Provide ongoing technical support, resolve AGV issues, and deliver hands-on training to operators and maintenance teams.
Author comprehensive technical documents—solution design specs, user manuals, and maintenance guides—to ensure knowledge continuity.
What Skills You Will Have:
Solid foundation in AGV technology - Deep understanding of AGV principles, mechanical structure, control systems and navigation technologies (QR, SLAM, etc.), especially AGVs with Seer brand controllers.
Familiarity with the AGV systems - Understanding all aspects of AGV system integration, including solution design, hardware selection, software configuration, and system integration. Fluent with AGV control system, simulation packages (e.g., FlexSim, AnyLogic) and field-debugging tools.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills - Ability to analyse and resolve various issues that arise during AGV system operation, turning downtime into uptimes
Excellent on communication skills - Ability to communicate effectively with team member, understand customer needs, and explain technical issues.
Required Qualifications:
- College degree or above in Automation, Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Logistics Engineering, or other related fields.
- Familiarity with AGV system architecture and technical principles such as laser navigation and vision navigation; - Understanding of PLC, sensor, and control system integration, with on-site debugging experience; - Proficiency in interpreting blueprints using tools such as CAD/SolidWorks; experience with Seer Robotics (仙工) controllers and scheduling systems is strongly preferred
- 2+ years of experience in AGV/AMR/automation equipment delivery, having led the delivery of 3+ complete projects.
- Experience delivering equipment from major AGV manufacturers such as Seer.
- Familiarity with manufacturing/warehousing and logistics scenarios; experience integrating with WMS/MES systems preferred.
