We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Business Analyst


Business: CIB - Other Tech


Principal responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering: The ITBA will conduct thorough sessions with stakeholders to capture all necessary requirements, minimizing misunderstandings and scope creep.
  • Coordination: Acting as a liaison between stakeholders, architects, and the engineering team, the BA will facilitate communication and ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Architect Design Validation: The ITBA will validate that the proposed architecture meets business needs and secure necessary approvals, reducing the risk of costly redesigns.
  • Effort Estimation: The ITBA will provide accurate cost estimations based on requirements and designs, aiding in budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Project Handoff: Once all information is gathered, the BA will ensure a smooth transition of project details to the engineering team for efficient delivery.
  • Requirement Traceability: The ITBA will conduct requirement traceability for requirements to ensure delivery meet the desire outcome.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in software development or IT projects.
  • Requirement Gathering Skills: Strong ability to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess project needs and propose effective solutions.
  • Project Management Knowledge: Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools to assist in project planning and execution.
  • Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of software development processes and architectural design principles.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and project specifications.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
