Job Overview
The PWB Layout Engineer is responsible for PWB Layout design with meeting the schedule and quality requirements of project and product according to the company's design process.
This position reports to the Shanghai R&D Department Lead and will be located in Shanghai.
Responsibilities
- PWB design with meeting the schedule and quality requirements of project and product according to the company's design process
- Familiar with all the existing pwb guideline regarding the company's power supply products with responsibility for executing.
- Be responsible for explaining and training PWB guideline and checklist for the company's guys .
- Expertise with design software with responsibility for Training for electrical guys
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, good capability of global work and local ones
- Control and manage PWB , library files.
- work with cross function team to address issues on new product research(Layout portion), design, manufacture issues from prototype build, testing and qualification issues.
Basic Qualifications
- Major in Electrical engineering technology, background on power supply PCBs is preferred.
- Solid experience (5year+) with PCB design including placement, routing and fab/assembly post process(DFM,DFF etc),
- Knowledge of PCB construction, material and corresponding IPC standard
- knowledge of EMI compliance, safety rule related to power
- Can work under pressure and meet the project schedule, target cost and product performance
- Good communication skill in both English and Chinese
