The incoming inspection technician ensures the compliance of purchased products and parts delivered to SATEE. Following sampling procedures according to the applicable instructions, he / she consistent, accurate and on-time performs checks and supplier on site release inspections on products delivered by suppliers before their use in production.
Responsibilities:
- Consistent, accurate and on-time perform inspections and checks on products in SATEE.
- Supplier on-site release inspection.
- Book and record all inspection data in ERP system.
- Inform SQ and Supply Chain on defects detected at Incoming and impact on part availability.
- Complete all associated Non-conformity activities such as sorting, blocking stock and returning.
- Manage NC warehouse and assist quality engineer to dispose NC parts.
- Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, control plan and checklists.
Main required competences:
- 3-5 years working experience in incoming inspection.
- Colleague degree in mechanical engineering.
- Be able to read 2D drawings.
- Experience in using ERP.
- Ability to use common inspection tools and equipment.
- Be familiar with MS-office (word, excel) software.
- Can travel few days in SHANGHAI and nearby areas.
- High responsibility and good communication.
- ISO9712 Welding VT2 certificate is preferred.
- Good written English is preferred.
