- Work with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to integrate X-ray/CT systems into automated production lines
- Stay updated on emerging technologies (photon-counting detectors, AI-driven imaging)
- Contribute to patents, technical papers, and R&D projects
- Work with Application and Engineering to define, analyze, detail and document specification
- Develop and analyze design concepts according to given systems or module specifications
- Conduct design verifications and design reviews
- Participate in prototype assembly, verification testing, and troubleshooting
- Close collaboration with internationally distributed R&D sites for co-development activities
Education / 教育背景
Master’s degree or above in Physics, Bio-medical engineering, Optics or similar engineering disciplines
Experience / 经验
- 3+ years in designing X-ray/CT imaging systems for industrial applications.
- Hands-on experience with X-ray sources (microfocus, nanofocus), detectors (flat-panel, CMOS, CCD) and imaging post-processing with Python, Matlab or C++.

Domain expertise in X-ray/CT system engineering includes, but not limited to below:
- Understanding of radiographic/CT principles (kV/mA settings, contrast, resolution).
- Select and integrate components (X-ray tubes, detectors).
- Optimize imaging parameters (kV/mA, focal spot size, geometric magnification) for different materials (metals, composites, polymers)
- Detector performance evaluation and type selection
- Tube performance evaluation and type selection
- Solid experience in industry X-ray/CT application is a big plus
- Implement software tools for image processing, analysis, and 3D visualization (e.g., Python, C++, MATLAB)
- Prototype and test new imaging system designs in lab and industrial environments
- Troubleshoot imaging artifacts (scatter, beam hardening, noise) and propose solutions
- Relevant experience in a cross-site international team is a plus
