Description
Nayax China is looking for an experienced Financial Controller who will be responsible for the local branch accounting operations of the company including the preparation of periodic financial reports, maintenance an adequate system of accounting records, comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards. This is a full-time on-site role in our office in Xuhui District, Shanghai City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to support the company’s scale
- Supervise the monthly, quarterly and annually closing process and ensure accuracy of financial records including account payable team, accruals, billing team, revenue recognition, payroll journal entries, fixed assets and intangible assets reconciliation.
- Supervise the intercompany reconciliation balances and transactions, outgoing payments and collection.
- Preparation of monthly financial reporting packages
- Work with subsidiaries teams, provide support and guidelines to the local finance team and conduct the annual external audit.
- Assist with tax matters, and annual tax filings ensuring compliance with local legislation.
- Ad hoc accounting and finance-related projects as needed.
- Participate in SOX procedures and ensure testing results are properly managed and documented
Requirements
- Preferred experience from public company or Hi-tech/Fin-tech companies
- 5-8 years of accounting experience after internship
- Degree in Accounting and CPA license
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Wxperience with ITA and VAT tax fillings, Payroll processing
- Analytical, high motivated
- Excellent English skills
- Understanding of both financial and operational controls
- Preferred Netsuite ERP system user
- Reliable, business partner of HQ in Finance for China
