The Services Engineer, will be responsible for carrying out installations, maintenance and repairs Bio-A products for delivering the desired customer service experience. The Services Engineer, will be responsible for carrying out installations, maintenance and repairs Bio-A products for delivering the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability
Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
Provide exceptional customer care
Provide technical support to customers
Travel to customers by ground, train and air transportation as needed
Provide training to customers on the basic use and operation of Bio Analytics instruments
Perform break fix service, and installation of complex mechanical systems
Perform preventative maintenance
Perform software updates / upgrades
Perform software updates / upgrades
Assist with resolving IT issues related to Bio Analytics system installations
Assist in drafting documentation of process and procedure as required
Pass along identified leads to the sales manager
Travel to our Ann Arbor, MI, Freemont, CA and or Welwyn Garden City, UK facilities for training as needed
Lift items that weigh up to 35 Kg
Qualifications & Skills:
Excellent customer skills
Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering Technology degree
Good IT skills
Willingness to travel extensively on short notice
Excellent mechanical / electromechanical skills
Good oral and written English
3+ years life science related field service experience
Be familiar with Microsoft office / CRM tools
