Job Summary

This position is responsible for developing capital equipment sales (crushers, screens, etc.) and aftermarket opportunities for the SRH (stationary range) and Powertrack (mobile range) Mid-Market Offering in Asia Pacific(APAC).

The incumbent will foster value-adding customer relationships, and manage all sales related aspects, including proposal preparation, discussions and finalization of agreements and distribution management.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and create a strategy suited to SRH business, including Sales & Marketing, Pre and post-sales support for direct sales and distribution in APAC.
Evaluate and appoint, where approved, suitable and sustainable distribution channels, in line with SRH’s Mid-Market strategy.
Manage the development of all areas of pre and post-sales support, ensuring the distribution channels become as self-sufficient as possible.
Implement adequate training, in all aspects of pre and post product support, for the distributor(s) and end customers, on a regular basis.
Manage the distribution channel accounts, including inventory, credit control, financing etc.
Provide regular reports to senior management, detailing dealer performance, due actions, future plans, strategies, forecasts, budgets and cost analysis etc.
Provide a link between the local Metso/SRH organization, and the distribution channel, in terms of flow of information, support, product supply, service and general back up where required.
Attend and participate in relevant exhibitions, conduct Road-shows and provide clear guidance and instructions to distributor(s) and implement ’s Mid Market sales & marketing strategy in the territory.
Drive and motivate the distributors to achieve the annual targets.
Call on customers, such as aggregate producers, contractors and engineering houses at quarries, mine sites, principal offices and other establishments and attempt to convince prospective clients of desirability and practicability of SRH’s Mid Market offering for products and services offered.
Develop and prepare quotations, as required, to increase sales volumes, improve profitability and increase margins.
Draw up, or propose, changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services, which would result in cost reduction, or improvement in operations.
Provide technical services to distributors and end customers, relating to use, operation and maintenance of equipment.
Plan and implement sales and service programs to promote SRH’s Mid Market offering products, improve competitive position in area, provide fast and efficient customer service.
Review articles in trade publications to keep abreast of industry developments.
Resolve customer complaints regarding equipment, supplies and services.
Develop and implement sales objectives and action plans to accommodate the region’s strategic plans.
Provide sales forecasting for assigned customer base and sets performance goals accordingly.
Assist distributor and end customers with product and applications training.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Degree (Mechanical) and 5 - 8 years sales experience of capital equipment’s.
English speaking is a must!
Must be experienced in the use of a personal computer including the proficient use of spreadsheets, word processing, Excel, Power Point and have a basic understanding of the use of data bases.
Experience must be from following industries: Construction, Minerals Processing, Heavy Engineering, Aggregates, Mining, Equipment Distribution and the allied service industries.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time

Location requirement: Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Changsha
