Job Description
RESPONSIBILITY:
- Responsible for continuously optimizing preventive maintenances of production equipment & utilities to maximize the availability for their intended use.
- Supervise engineers to follow the DMS practice to drive team accountability and efficiency.
- Instruct and coach on engineers to effectively expand team capabilities of maintenance & troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with production, planning and other functional departments to well implement maintenance activities and minimize the production interruptions.
- Ensure that the team members are adequately educated, trained and experienced for allocated job tasks.
- Supervise and support the team to follow engineering change control process and ensure all engineering activities including contracted vendor’s work to be fully compliant with EHS and GMP policies & requirements.
- Lead and support the engineers to work out feasible improvement projects for implementation to continuously increase the level of EHS compliance and GMP & quality compliance for site operations and processes.
- Lead the process improvement project with the tools of Lean or Kaizen.
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelor’s degree or above is required.
- More than 10 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical and familiar with GMP regulations.
- Rich experiences both in electrical and mechanical.
- Excellent ability on project plan and execution.
- Knowledge and experience in use of Lean and Kaizen methodologies.
- Outstanding communication skills and leadership capability.
- Good command of both spoken and written English.
