General Summary:
The position will be responsible for demand planning for Greater China and provide monthly/yearly sales forecast.
Key Accountabilities:
• Demand Forecasting & Analysis:
- Predict GC markets demand, by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Develop monthly/annual demand plans aligned with the brand’s strategic objectives. Detailed planning is at GC / Country level for different granularity per request.
- Provide forecast for new products with collaboration with multi-functional team.
• Data Integration & Modeling:
- Consolidate multi-dimensional data (sales, inventory, etc.) and use statistical models and forecasting tools to optimize prediction accuracy.
- Provide cross-functional support for supply chain planning team.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with merchandising, finance, inventory planning, sales, and marketing teams to align on demand changes, adjust forecast, and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Market Trend Monitoring and Inventory Optimization:
- Track luxury industry trends, competitor activities, and shifts in consumer preferences to refine forecasting models and support new product development.
- Influence inventory planning on safety stock strategies based on demand forecasts and improve product availability.
• Reporting & Decision Support:
- Generate regular demand forecasting and inventory analysis reports to provide data-driven insights for decisions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree
- 5+ years of experience in luxury / retail demand planning/ sales forecast function
- Fluent English in writing and speaking.
- With good logic and analytical thinking, smooth communication with different functions and willing to support
- Good command in excel, PowerPoint SAP, PBI, and other data analysis tool is a plus.
- Team player, self-driven and acumen to trend / data.
