You'll report to the Credit Director within the global Credit and Collections team, which is part of the broader Treasury organization. You will have the opportunity to define and grow the critical AR and Collections function as part of our young organization. The Credit and Collections Analyst will support the team by assisting with cash application, reporting, credit and collections, and special projects.
You will:
- Manage all things related to collections for a portfolio of customer accounts
- Reconcile and send customer statements weekly or more often as needed, including daily
- Investigate inquiries related to customer payments and payment disputes and assist the team in reconciling data.
- Drive dispute management resolution for your portfolio of accounts
- Ensure payments are posted timely and accurately, with utmost attention to detail
- Process adjusting entries, reversals, and reclassifications as needed, ensuring the accuracy of Solidigm’s books
- Deliver month end and periodic reporting on cash collections, credit, and accounts receivable as needed
- Develop and follow new policies and procedures to drive timely cash application, collections, and reporting
- Proactively problem-solve to serve partners’ needs, work independently to address challenges, and escalate to management when appropriate
- Provide input on efficiencies in regional and global collections and AR processes, both manual and system-based processes, including testing of systems and technology as the organization grows
- Provide additional support for collections, credit analysis, and special projects as required by our evolving business
Qualifications
- Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field; relevant work in AR, collections, cash application, and reporting experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in a global, cross-functional environment, with proven ability to partner effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships with customers and partners
- A proactive working style, strong discipline, and ability to simultaneously juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Skillful in data analysis, critical thinking, and problem solving, always with attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana and Microsoft Office tools
- Bonus: a strong understanding of the general quote-to-cash/procure-to-pay cycles, especially in the technology industry
