The Product Line Renewables and Ocean Structures develops and maintains advanced engineering software including Sesam, Bladed, and Nauticus Machinery. Bladed is the industry-leading tool for wind turbine design and analysis, used globally for both onshore and offshore applications.
We are seeking a capable and motivated Bladed Support Engineer with strong turbine engineering knowledge to join our team. This role will focus on providing expert support to Bladed users, contributing to product development, and enhancing customer experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver expert-level technical support to Bladed users worldwide, resolving complex engineering and software issues.
- Deliver Bladed training sessions (online or at customer site), to enable our customers to quickly adopt the cutting-edge functionality of current and soon to be released new product versions.
- Serve as Technical Account Manager for strategic customers: Build trusted relationships, ensure product adoption success, and identify expansion opportunities.
- Support pre-sales activities: providing a technical expertise point of contact across technical demos, scoping solutions, and collaboration with sales teams to win strategic contracts.
- Help create and maintain a leading online self-service experience for technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials.
- You will have unparalleled access and insight into our customers, and will contribute to product strategy and development by translating user feedback, needs and problems into actionable insights for engineering teams.
- Participate in product R&D activities by building, testing and verifying models to showcase the product capabilities and real-world engineering analysis.

- PhD or MSc in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
- 3+ years wind turbine aeroelastic simulation and engineering experience with technical experience in one or more aeroelastic simulation domains such as:
- Aerodynamics
- Structural Analysis
- Hydrodynamics
- Load Simulation
- Proven hands-on experience with Bladed (or equivalent tools: OpenFAST, HAWC2, etc).
- Fluency in English with exceptional communication skills (technical writing, presentations, client interaction).
- Collaborative mindset with ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
Preferred:
- Some coding experience in Python, C++, FORTRAN beneficial.
- Experience using Bladed application programming interfaces (APIs) for:
- Load case automation and setup,
- Writing user-defined controller DLLs and/or external loads DLLs.
- Analysis of results.
- Knowledge of wind industry standards (IEC, DNV).
