The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (owner and operator of The Peninsula Hotels, The Repulse Bay and other high-profile assets) is seeking to hire an Assistant Director, Corporate Finance to support the development of financial modelling, provide strategic planning analysis and scenario planning to support the Company objectives and growth.

Key Accountabilities
- Assist Corporate Finance team to construct complex financial models for corporate financial planning purposes
- Perform benchmarking analysis, incremental returns analysis, capital investment analysis, historical returns assessment, and post investment analysis
- Work directly with various finance teams and HO department stakeholders to build bespoke financial models, develop forecast scenarios, and critique assumptions
- Work closely with the Finance teams to understand budget and P/L re-forecast assumptions for Group reporting requirements.
- Assist Corporate Finance team in relation to long-term group strategic business reviews and planning
- Understand key drivers for each business segment to produce tailored long-term Macro financial plans/economic modelling as required.
- Develop scenarios analysis and stress test to assess future earning risks.
- Conduct development feasibility studies and market research
- Produce management presentations and communication decks
- Coordinate with and manage external consultants as required
General requirements
- Degree holder in finance, accounting or business
- Minimum 5 years experience in a corporate finance / development / feasibility function, ideally within the hospitality, retail or property sector
- Fluent English proficiency and the ability to communicate complexity to a wide audience
- Experience working in Asia (Hong Kong preferred)
