Chemours is seeking an AP Marketing and Business Operation Manager to join our Thermal & Specialized Solutions business. This position will be available at Shanghai, China and report directly to the AP Business director based in Shanghai, China .
This role will oversee AP Marketing, Sales Operation, AP Portal Process and AP CSR. He/She will focus on developing and executing TSS AP marketing strategies and tactics while offering full commercial operation support through his/her team to the AP Sales and Marketing team as well as AP Business Director in daily operation. The successful candidate is preferred to be based in Shanghai, China while other major cities in AP is acceptable as well.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Marketing
Work as the leader for AP Marketing, AP CSR, AP Sales Operation, AP Portal Process to oversee the efficient operation and management in order to drive and support the business to achieve designed purpose.
Carry out the market study by country level and AP, starting from VOC collection to strategies/tactics building until execution and supervision for result against designed target
Craft the strategy for markets/segments/applications/products development; Organize related functions to execute and measure the fruit
Closely work with MarComm team on MarComm Strategy and execution plan; Fully leverage MarComm as the accelerator for business growth and project advance
Build market and business intelligence mechanism to offer the regular and irregular information set to watch the market dynamic, competitor’s latest move and industries’ newest happenings so as to offer both quantitative and qualitative analysis for regional and global business discussion and decision
Lead and coordinate AP e-Commerce activities with Global e-Commerce team
Advocate Company’s new products and solutions at government’s ministries, industries associations and think tanks etc in order to speed up the early adoption in main developing countries like China, India, ASEAN
Deeply understand AP countries regulation (mainly about HFC evolution to HFO and NIK ) and short/middle/long term direction, then take the necessary action to gain the early and extra growth from the trend
Act as the Asia Leader for Anti Counterfeit activities; Work closely with Global Legal and Corp Security teams to crack down the fake
Work with AP Product Manager, Purchasing Manager and respective countries’ Sales Managers for HFC business maintenance and development
Sit in the Global Demand Meeting as the representative of AP while working closely with AP Demand Manager
Organize and edit various AP presentations
Conduct special projects offering Asia support to Global
Business Operation
Lead and work with CSR AP leader to refine the process to avoid any potential violation of compliance as well as operational error
Work with AP Demand Planning Manager to maintain the normal operation and search for optimized method to further improve
Work closely with AP Product Manager to assist the development of richer product portfolio, competitiveness of cost especially for HFC, improvement of business profitability
Drive AP Portal wider adoption while working with Global team for the implementation of any new e-commerce projects
Lead Sales Operation to build and implement various commercial metric and process to support the Sales growth and team assessment
Conduct the annual customers survey with Sales team and take corrective and improving actions with other functions for customers satisfaction elevation
Take initiative to bring new ideas into the business management for both assessment and execution
Be responsible for ad hoc assignment assigned by AP Business Director
The following is required for this role:
Bachelor degree or plus
10+ years experience in commercial functions (Sales, Marketing, Product Management , Commercial Operation etc ); 5+ years marketing experience including strategical marketing and B2B marketing to cover Asia Pacific region while at least 2-3 years field sales experience; 5+ years team leader experience, especially in marketing, Sales and/or support functions
Understand the advocacy basic logic and process with previous related advocacy experience
Well understand market intelligence collection, digest and utilization process with former experience
Good at coordination among different functions to reach agreement and execute with result
Excellent Business acumen, decision making & analytical and presentation skill
Self-motivated and ability to work and excel in a constantly changing environment
Strong leadership skills especially for the area not familiar with
Influential leadership - Work and influence team across the functions
Willing to travel across AP countries
The following is preferred for this role:
Former MarComm experience would be preferred
AC or refrigerant experience preferred
