Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop proposals; may negotiate with customers; ensure deals deliver shareholder value; drive competitive pricing. May include compiling and submitting required tender documentation.
- Developing in - depth knowledge of sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups. Uses prior experience and acquired commercial expertise to execute policy/strategy.
- In - depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In - depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Most decisions are within a defined framework, but some autonomy in the final decisions for project work. Uses judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions within set parameters to address complicated, day - to - day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
- A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination of services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
Required Qualifications
- This role requires progressive experience in the Sales & Proposals.
- Bachelor in technical/Engineering Major
- Strategic mindset, understanding biz financials
- Strong business acumen and presentation skills
- Proficient in tools to run financial scenarios and drive outcomes.
- Willingness and ability to travel, as needed, for customer and deal enablement.

- Interpersonal, influencing, and team collaboration skills; proven ability to work well in a matrix environment with guidance.
- Some prior commercial sales experience is preferred
- Exposure to MYA modeling tools and basic accounting practices is preferred.
