Mechanical Engineer
Core Responsibilities:
- Keep all Safety, Health and Environmental standards and other regulations in the plants and monitor and ensure that all field work activities are carried out in accordance to the specified requirements;
- Manage and coordinate maintenance day team work activities and be responsible for their safety and work performance。Make sure maintenance day team KPIs are monitored, reviewed periodically and performance are achieved. Coach maintenance technicians.
- Work together with maintenance planer to make sure maintenance work are effectively arranged and executed.
- Creating and update mechanical SOPs and make/confirm non routine work plans.
- Troubleshoot, coach and provide technical support and solution to field complex maintenance & repair activities which includes all of the mechanical and packaged equipments.
- To plan and make all necessary test/inspection of plant mechanical equipments which include all pressurized vessels/pipes, safety valves, rupture disc, etc. Make sure all mechanical equipments are inspected/tested and meet relevant regulations, product quality and efficiency requirements.
- To organize mechanical equipment unreliability and low plant availability gap identification and follow up improvement action development and implemented. Make sure the failure root causes are analyzed and actions taken, lessons learnt.
- Creating and updating PPM work plans and work contents, supervise/check and track the quality of PPM works.
- New project technical support and provide necessary support for other functions.
- Coordinate contractor or other vendor resources to deal with the frustrations or unexpected situations.
- MRO mechanical spare parts technical specification confirmation and minimum stock level and reorder point confirmation
- Technical training to all mechanical technicians.
- Any other duties as assigned
Key Job Requirements:
- University graduation in mechanical, mechanical engineering or other related field.
- Profound knowledge in static mechanical equipment and rotating equipment such tanks, vessels, pumps, mills, etc. Be familiar with pneumatic controls equipment.
- Profound knowledge in packing equipment such as liquid filling machines, carton sealer, labelers, conveyors, etc.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Mature, Creative, hard-working and a team player.
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and customer orientation.
- Oral and written English skills essential.
- At least 5+ years of experience in mechanical field in chemical or paints plants.
- Coaching and leading people by example and influence.
