Ingeteam is in search of marine technical sales manager with marine electrical engineering background for marine electric propulsion project with power generation, power distribution, large MV/ LV Drive and automation technologies for the Marine, offshore and Oil & Gas industries.
The main tasks of the technical sales manager who takes this position will mainly be technical sales related tasks for marine electric propulsion project which will include Ingeteam’s generator, switchboard, drives, motors and industry technology portfolios. Technical proposal preparing, inquiring to internal factories and also external suppliers, in order to prepare and complete the technical specification; and complete the technical specification discussion and signing with customer. To visit customer including shipowner/ship designer/shipyard when necessary during project development or bidding period.
Job Description:
- Responsible for the technical sales related tasks for marine electric propulsion system project with scope of power generation and distribution system, drive system, hybrid system and automation system for marine and offshore vessels;
- Following up with shipowner, ship designer and shipyard for the new project development
- Prepare the technical proposal according to the bidding document received from customers;
- Inquiring and clarify technical details with internal head office or manufacturers and external suppliers；
- Preparing, clarifying and discussing with shipyard, shipowner to finalize the technical specification and signing the technical specification with customer
- Keep the closed communication with HQ sales team for the project calculation, budgetary commercial quotation and official bidding documentation preparing.
- Support project manager during project execution period when necessary
- Visit customer for technical specification discussion during bidding period
- Visit customer during project development period when necessary and support to develop new customer and new opportunities.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering, or similar
- A minimum of 5 years of Marine electrical relevant experience
- Marine Power system or Drive/Motor System engineering, Commissioning or project management Experience
- Strong organization and excellent time management skills
- Good team cooperation spirit
