- The Algorithm Intern is responsible for assisting in algorithm R&D and supporting end-to-end dataset construction (including data collection, annotation, and cleansing) to enable robust AI model training and validation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Algorithm Development Support: Assist in implementing and tuning core algorithms (e.g., object detection, Bev Net, LLM, VLM) under guidance. Optimize model performance through data analysis, parameter adjustment, and experimental validation.
- Data Pipeline Support: Collect and curate domain-specific data from diverse sources (APIs, public datasets, internal DBs). Responsible for performing data annotation tasks and implementing quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy and consistency in labeled datasets.
- Follow Technical Guidelines: Strictly adhere to algorithm design protocols, code standards, and reproducibility requirements.
- Experiment & Delivery: Deliver algorithm prototypes and validated datasets within deadlines; document technical insights.
- Issue Identification: Proactively flag algorithm performance issues, data anomalies, or scalability challenges to mentors.
- Collaborative R&D: Participate in code reviews, model evaluations, and team technical discussions.
- Learning & Growth: Continuously learn state-of-the-art algorithms (e.g., transformer architectures, diffusion models) and tools.
- Compliance: Comply with data security, IP protection, and daily R&D workflows.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Required Experience and special skills:
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow) and model training pipelines.
- Basic knowledge of algorithm categories: CV/NLP/VLM (e.g., CNN, Transformer, CLIP).
- Familiarity with data preprocessing, evaluation metrics (e.g., mAP, BLEU), and experimental design.
- Exposure to cloud ML platforms is a plus.
- Experience in BEV network is a plus.
- Experience with LoRA fine-tuning of models like Qwen and GLM is a plus.
Required Education:
- Pursuing MSc/PhD in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, or related quantitative fields.
Required Computer Skills:
- Programming Language: Python(required), C++(plus)
- Tools: PyTorch/TensorFlow, Git, Linux/CLI
- Data Handling: HDF5/JSON/Parquet/JPG/PNG, data visualization libraries
- Confluence & Jira
Language Knowledge:
- Fluent in reading English technical literature; basic oral/written communication skills.
- German language is a plus.
Methodological Knowledge
- Structured problem-solving mindset with experimental rigor.
- Ability to implement and validate algorithms based on research papers.
