About the Team

We are Division Commercial Vehicle Solutions (CVS), we are currently expanding our R&D teams across China and looking for new colleagues to join us in Jinan.

What you can look forward to as an ADAS Engineering Project Manager:

• Budget responsibility for Professional Services (PS), Other Outside Services (OOS), and Product Engineering hours spent according to the project business case & AOP Plan.
• Plan and allocate the necessary engineering resources according to the business plan
• Ensure project staffing / required skills for the engineering resources
• Manage and ensure the product maturity within the development regarding: fulfilment of the customer specifications, fulfilment of the customer and CVS quality requirements, fulfilment of safety regulations and legal requirements
• Track and execute technical work packages as defined in the Product Engineering Process (PEP) and CVS Product Creation Process (WPCP)
• Set up, track and ensure the project time plan related to Product Engineering activities in alignment with all functions
• Initiate & manage technical meetings with customers and suppliers. Initiate CVM, ensure System-, Interface- and Design FMEAs are done on time and supports P-FMEA. Ensure problem analyses according QR6S and follows up action plans
• Prepare design and PEP reviews and assure targets for the reviews are met. Ensure on time product validation and prototype activities in cooperation with the test center
• Set up & achieve product target costs within the technical development and contribute to design to cost activities & supplier selection process
• Provide onsite support to CVS production sites during product launches.

Your profile as an ADAS Engineering Project Manager:

• Degree in Engineering, fluent in English
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering or Project Management in the automotive industry
• Successfully managed already smaller technical projects (is an asset)
• Experience in team management, experience in budget management
• Experience in working in a matrix environment
