We are looking for a DT Lead Commercial and Site Solutions China to join us, based in our office in Shanghai, China
About the role
The geographical scope includes all China-based sites (e.g., Shanghai, Beijing), working closely with Commercial teams, other local stakeholders, and global IT stakeholders.
What you’ll do
Commercial, Digital and Local Solutions
- Lead the implementation and operations of digital solutions for Commercial teams in China, including D&A, CRM, omnichannel platforms, and local solutions
- Translate business requirements into IT solutions in collaboration with local and global stakeholders
- Partner with local commercial function stakeholders to fulfill local business needs – Immunology, Rare Disease, Channel management etc.
- Oversee local digital solutions – WeChat, WeCom, Tencent, Azure and other local unique solutions
Project & Vendor Management
- Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects, managing risks and stakeholder expectations
- Oversee vendor contracts and performance, ensuring service quality and cost optimization
Security & Compliance
- Enforce UCB’s IT security policies and ensure compliance with cybersecurity and privacy laws
- Promote adherence to TSSC principles (Trustworthiness, Security, Safety, Compliance) across all digital initiatives
- Support IT audits, risk assessments, and remediation activities, ensuring readiness and proactive risk mitigation
Site IT Solutions
- Support IT Infra team for IT infrastructure and service desk services China sites
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
- 7+ years of experience in IT projects and operation management, preferably in China.
- Proven experience in Commercial IT (Analytics, CRM, Omnichannel) implementation and support.
- Good understanding for Pharma business in China
- Strong collaboration skills in a matrixed, global organization.
- Demonstrated ability in vendor management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Solid understanding of IT security and compliance practices, Local Cyber and Privacy security requirements.
- Language: Business-level English and Chinese
