Internal Project Management (IPM) monitors and ensures projects for internal customers are delivered within agreed scope and are completed within budget, schedule, and quality standards. Covers implementation of process improvements to reduce development time and the assistance in the integration of complex business factors to develop and implement long-term strategic planning objectives.
- Lead the industrialization process of FN BBN products, ensuring seamless transition from R&D to manufacturing.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams (R&D, PLM, Advanced Procurement, QC, SC test engineer, SC production engineering, EMS factories, …) to align on product introduction plans and timelines.
- Develop and execute industrialization plans, including pilot runs and results review including later correction/improvement actions, process design, production settlement, SOP/WIP, production capacity, ……
- Drive yield improvement and process optimization during early production stages.
- Manage engineering change notices (ECNs), including evaluation, implementation, and effectiveness tracking.
- Monitor and analyze production quality data and lead corrective and preventive actions cooperation with QC.
- Serve as a bilingual (Chinese/English) liaison between domestic and international teams.
- Regularly report project progress, risks analysis, and mitigation strategies to senior management.
You have:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-departmental initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stress-management abilities.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Familiarity with R&D, testing, SMT/assembly line operations, and material management processes.
- Onsite working in EMS factories and key materials vendors’ factories are necessary to make sure the production process are correct, traceability and managed.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product industrialization within the telecommunications industry (e.g., GPON OLT, optical modules, access network equipment).
- Prior experience in well-known telecom companies is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Automation, or a related fields is a plus
