Deloitte China Tax and Business Advisory is the only Big Four practice that works As One across Greater China Region including the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan with more than 2,300 experienced tax advisors to offer holistic one-stop-shop services and assist clients, stakeholders and regulators to harvest mutual trust and sustainable growth. Work you'll do
- Applies technical knowledge when assisting leadership in client compliance and reporting projects
- Prepares and review US tax work papers/returns (Forms 1120, 1120F, 5471, 8992, 1065, 8621 etc.)
- Assists managers and partners to provide US International/tax advisory services involving U.S. inbound and outbound transactions, group restructuring and perform U.S. tax due diligence
- Identifies U.S. tax issues on client engagements and perform tax technical research using tax soft wares such as BNA portfolio and CCH
- Drafts reports, identify key issues/risks and propose solutions for clients with respect to U.S. tax advisory projects
- Assists managers and partners to advise financial institution clients on how to comply with FATCA/CRS regulations including performing sample checks, periodic reviews on the compliance program and annual account reporting to the respective jurisdictions
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of the key capabilities required to deliver a high quality services to the clients

We are looking for someone with
- Bachelor degree or above in tax, accounting, finance, law or other related disciplines
- Professional accounting qualification or registered tax agent or lawyer is required
- 3 years of relevant US Tax/FATCA/CRS experience with CPA firms (Big 4 experience is preferred), law firms, tax authorities or large corporation
- In-depth understanding of tax policies, rules and regulations
- Strong analytical and highly commitment to quality client service
- Strong consultation skills, communication skills, self-initiation, teamwork spirit and willingness to work under pressure
- Be mature, proactive, committed, motivated with strong sense of teamwork
- Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
- Candidates with more experience will be considered for Manager position
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese, including both technical and business writing, documentation and presentation skills
- Willing to travel
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for Associate position
