Role Introduction
Reports To: Business Development Manager
This position is mainly responsible for the promotion of Asia Miles by Cathay in mainland China, especially the GBA region, and assists the BD manager to expand and maintain customers in the lifestyle pillars.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Revenue Generation
- Develop Non-Air Lifestyle Partnership for both earn, points conversion and redemption (Retail, Wellness, Dining, Travel, Holiday, and other relevant pillars to Chinese mainland market) to meet revenue targets
- Support the implementation of strategy to win China market
Market Analysis and Sales Support
- Keep abreast of market information and industry trends, including consumer/retail/dining/travel industry
- Actively build connections with relevant external parties and strengthen collaboration with internal stakeholders to identify new business development opportunities.
- Plan and implement marketing campaigns with partners to drive for more miles accrual and redemption and improve customer experience
- Monitor the performance of non-air partnerships with analysis, reporting and
- Establish & sustain a good working relationship with clients, partners and internal stakeholders
- Support Cathay Shop (Cathay Pacific’s e-Commerce business) operation when needed, to ensure the appropriate assortment is on-site according to the product launch calendar, monitor and update to promote the key products based on inventory, marketing calendar, key launches and overall Merchandising Guidelines.

Academic Qualifications
- Degree holder of Business Studies, Marketing, or related discipline
Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience, ideally with knowledge of consumer industry, lifestyle retail, hotel or travel industries and loyalty programmes
- Proven track record in business development and market expansion.
- Proven track record in deliver sales target especially in consumer, lifestyle retail or travel industries .
- Strong network and connection among the consumer brands, lifestyle retail, commercial real estate or hotel is preferred. Relevant experience with travel related partners is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Creative, dynamic and innovative
- Good numerical and analytical skills are also required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- Willing to travel if needed
