Your role:
Head of Medical Communication & RWE is to supervise medical information, RWE and publication related activities via the medical communication platform, form scientific data loop via collaboration with TA, as well as operational aspects of medical affairs to ensure efficiency
- Synergize expertise areas and incl. MI, RWE publication, to increase internal impact and build external reputation
- Works across medical, requires good understanding of the needs and objectives of the different involved functions and departments to drive forward joint solutions, with a focus on data generation via RWE and data communication via scientific publications
- Uses advanced analytical skills to solve complex topics and proactively identifies solutions to problems or bottlenecks, incl. using RWE for label update for mature products
- Ensures quality and compliance with all relevant internal and external regulations, with a clear sense of how to protect company reputation and prevent any allegations
- Contributes to the improvement of processes and procedures for the operational delivery in alignment with global functions
- Close collaboration with supervisor to understand company and product strategy
- Branding and increase voice of RWE team within industry
Who you are:
Academic (MD, Ph.D. or PharmD) degree in medical or life science from an internationally recognized university or equivalent professional experience.
Major qualification required
- Additional qualification in a relevant therapeutic area
- Completion of GCP training
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Minimum 8 years professional experience in an international Pharma/ Biotech setting in various aspects of drug development process especially clinical, medical affairs, biostatistics, regulatory, safety.
- Proven track record of successful medical information, publication and medical communication deliverables either in Pharma/ Biotech company or agency
